Description

This intermediate course helps new managers and emerging leaders replace hesitant, indirect communication with clear, respectful assertiveness. You will assess your default communication style, challenge the beliefs that stop you speaking up, and learn practical ways to express what you think, feel and want without becoming bossy or combative.

Through realistic work and life scenarios, you will practise making clear requests, saying no, setting boundaries, contributing in meetings, handling disagreement and responding on the spot when situations turn awkward. The course is especially helpful for passive communicators, while still giving aggressive and passive-aggressive communicators a structured path towards a calmer, more credible style.
