Description

Creating a website or mobile app is easier than ever; making it effective is the difficult part. This course gives you a practical framework for improving conversion, reducing friction and helping people complete the tasks that matter to them. You will work through the five elements of user experience — strategy, scope, structure, skeleton and surface — and apply them to web, mobile web and mobile app design.

Rather than treating UX as decoration, the course focuses on decisions that affect business goals and user success: research, requirements, information architecture, navigation, forms, wireframes, visual design and testing. Each lesson builds from foundation to application so you can evaluate existing experiences and make better design choices in your own work.

This course is designed for people who already work with digital products and want a more reliable design process. By the end, you will be able to assess whether a site or app is effective, identify where users get stuck and improve the experience with clear, testable design decisions.
